Pierwsze punkty zdobyli gospodarze z rzutu karnego Daniela Gduli już w 4 minucie gry, ale cztery minuty później po akcji w środku pola na połowie Arki piłkę otrzymał Szymon Sirocki i w nietypowy dla sposób, bo środkiem pognał w pole punktowe Posnanii. Tymczasem sędziowie długo nie pozwalali zawodnikom zejść z murawy, a w przedłużonej końcówce pierwszej połowy gospodarze dwukrotnie przyłożyli, doprowadzając do remisu.
Po wznowieniu gry przez 10 minut niewiele się działo, ale w 52 minucie Arka uzyskała młyn w strefie obronnej gospodarzy, wiązacz, Paweł Gajowniczek sprytnie przeprowadził „jajo” nad linię, a gdy zobaczył linię pola pola punktowego wystarczyło tylko rzucić się. Daniel Trybus wbiegł z piłką w pobliże pola punktowego gości, ale został przewrócony. Zdążył jednak piłkę przejąć Dawid Najdul, który popędził z nią dalej i zdobył przyłożenie. Trzy minuty później ambitni poznaniacy mieli okazję zdobyć bonusowe przyłożenie ale obrona gdynian tym razem nie dała się zaskoczyć. Po tej akcji sędzia zakończył mecz.
