Każda startująca zawodniczka ma za zadanie zrobić jak najwięcej powtórzeń w ciągu 10 minut, przy czym tylko raz może zmienić rękę. Nie może odstawiać kuli ani też trzymać jej na dole. Odpoczywa się, trzymając odważnik w górze.

Składa się z dwóch konkurencji:

Każdy startujący ma za zadanie zrobić jak najwięcej powtórzeń w ciągu 10 minut, przy czym tylko raz może zmienić rękę (jedynie w przypadku rwania). Nie może odstawiać kuli/kul ani też trzymać jej/ich na dole. W przypadku rwania – odpoczywa trzymając odważnik w górze, a w pozostałych (podrzut i długi cykl) trzymając kule w tzw. stojaku.

Sztafeta składa się z 5 osób (każdy musi reprezentować inną kategorię wagową). Sztafeta to podrzut.

Każdy z uczestników sztafety ma za zadanie zrobić jak najwięcej powtórzeń w ciągu 3 minut.
Pośród amatorów bardzo dobrze spisują się Polacy. Paweł Szastok zdobył złoty medal w swojej kategorii wagowej, a swój wyczyn powtórzył w piątek wraz z kolegami w sztafecie amatorów.
Oprócz niego indywidualnie na podium stanęli również Andrzej Michałowski, który był drugi w swojej kategorii i Katarzyna Dębek, zdobywczyni brązowego medalu wśród kobiet.
W niedzielę zakończenie zawodów, wówczas także przewidziane są zawody weteranów, wśród których Polacy są faworytami.
