Duży sukces odnieśli przedstawiciele tej dyscypliny reprezentujący Gdynię. Tytuł Mistrza Polski wywalczyła doświadczona dwójka bobslejowa: Mateusz Luty, Krzysztof Tylkowski (WKS Flota Gdynia), która w pierwszym ślizgu osiągnęła rewelacyjny czas startu 4,91. Na drugim miejscu uplasowała się załoga: Jakub Stano, Łukasz Miedzik (WKS Flota Gdynia). Brąz wywalczyli Jakub Zakrzewski, Kamil Masztak.
Cała trójka pilotów- medalistów będzie brała udział w rywalizacji międzynarodowej w sezonie zimowym 2017/18. Pierwszy start już za dwa tygodnie na Pucharze Europy w Lillehammer.
