Dobra druga kwarta spotkania w wykonaniu drużyny z Sosnowca, dała pewną wygraną nad walczącymi o utrzymanie koszykarkami GTK Gdynia. Pozostałe kwarty były bardzo zacięte i żadna ze stron nie potrafiła w nich uzyskać wyraźnej przewagi. Po raz kolejny w Zagłębiu prym wiodło trio – Helga Sarah Sagerer (23 punkty) – Aishah Sutherland (11 punktów, 12 zbiorek) – Jessica January (15 punktów, 11 zbiórek, 9 asyst). tej ostatniej zabrakło zaledwie jednej asysty do triple double. Po stronie GTK 14 „oczek” rzuciła Aleksandra Parzeńska, a po 9 dołożyły Jowita Ossowska oraz Marta Marcinkowska.
