17 sekund na przeprowadzenie akcji i odrobienie 3 punktów straty miały koszykarki VBW Arki Gdynia. Niestety pressing przyjezdnych sprawił, że nie udało się gdyniankom oddać rzutu i dźwięk syreny rozwiał ich złudzenia.
Ekipa z Gdyni, wgrała pierwszą kwartę, ale potem przez cały czas goniła wynik. W końcówce niestety nie udało się gospodyniom doprowadzić do dogrywki. Nie był to jednak mecz Alice Kunek, która rzuciła zaledwie 4 punkty przez 30 minut gry. W końcówce Dynamo popełniło mnóstwo błędów, których jednak gdynianki nie wykorzystały. Wspomniane na wstępie ostatnie17 sekund to jednak perfekcyjna obrona ekipy rosyjskiej, która nie dopuściła rywalek do oddania rzutu. VBW Arka wygrała dwie kwarty, jedną zremisowała, a jednak z parkietu zeszła pokonana. Gospodynie popełniły aż 18 strat, przy 7- zespołu rosyjskiego. Wyraźną różnicę na korzyść przyjezdnych widać było także w rzutach zza linii 6,75 m, Dynamo trafiło 14, przy tylko 4x gospodyń.
Arike Ogunbowale rzuciła 16 punktów, a „oczko” mniej dodała 24 – letnia Yulia Kozik. Double-double (13 punktów, 12 zbiórek) zaliczyła Natasha Howard. W zespole pokonanych Megan Gustafson rzuciła ostatecznie 22 punkty oraz miała 9 zbiórek, a 13 punktów dodała Marissa Kastanek.
Po tej porażce na koncie VBW Arki pozostaje jedna wygrana i 7 porażek, co sprawia, że gdyńska drużyna wciąż okupuje ostatnią lokatę w tabeli grupy B i jej szanse na awans są już tylko iluzoryczne.
