Po wyrównanym początku spotkania to Enea Zastal zaczął przejmować inicjatywę – udawało się do dzięki serii 9:0 i akcjom Dragana Apicia. Po późniejszych rzutach wolnych wychowanego w Gdyni Przemysława Żołnierewicza oraz ponownie Apicia przewaga wynosiła już 15 punktów. Sytuację starał się zmieniać Anthony Durham II, ale po 10 minutach było 15:25.
David Brembly utrzymywał w drugiej kwarcie różnicę na korzyść zielonogórzan. Późniejsze zagrania Jacobi Boykinsa (zdjęcie górne) zbliżyły gospodarzy na zaledwie cztery punkty! Jednak świetna współpraca Nemanji Nenadicia oraz Apicia pozwoliła przyjezdnym ponownie kontrolować wydarzenia na parkiecie. Pierwsza połowa zakończyła się wynikiem 32:45.
W trzeciej kwarcie Asseco Arka starała się “kąsać” rywali, ale ci ciągle utrzymywali przewagę. Działo się to ciągle dzięki duetowi Nenadić – Apić. Zespołowi trenera Milosa Mitrovicia udało się zbliżyć na pięć punktów po zagraniu Adama Hrycaniuka, ale przeciwnicy nie pozwolili na więcej. Dzięki akcjom Andrzeja Mazurczaka i Żołnierewicza po 30 minutach było 52:64.
Kolejna część meczu niewiele zmieniała, bo zespół trenera Olivera Vidina ciągle był lepszy. Po zagraniu 2+1 Jarosława Zyskowskiego przewaga wyniosła aż 17 punktów. Gdynianie nie mieli już żadnego ofensywnego zrywu, a Enea Zastal zwyciężył ostatecznie 83:73.
Najlepszym graczem gości był Nemanja Nenadić z 21 punktami, 8 zbiórkami i 3 asystami. Nieznacznie ustępował mu Dragan Apić (17 pkt., 8 zb., 4 as.). W ekipie gospodarzy wyróżniał się Jacobi Boykins z 20 punktami, 9 zbiórkami i 4 asystami.
Najbliższy mecz, jaki gdynianie rozegrają będą to derby Trójmiasta w hali ERGO Arena w Sopocie z Treflem, które odbędą się 11 grudnia br.
