Chrobry lepszy po raz drugi!

Arka jechała do Głogowa, by zamknąć trzymeczowy maraton wyjazdowy i wygrać przynajmniej jeden mecz. Dodatkową motywacją było, że w spotkaniu tych dwóch drużyn w pierwszej rundzie w Gdyni Arka dała się pokonać 0:2. Tym razem miało być inaczej. Miało…

Spotkanie było walką nie tylko o trzy ligowe punkty, ale też o poprawę nastrojów po ostatnich rozczarowujących wynikach. Ten cel gdynianie mieli osiągnąć w nieco odmienionym składzie, do którego powrócili Arkadiusz Kasperkiewicz, Luis Valcarce, Adam Deja, Olaf Kobacki i Karol Czubak.

Spotkanie w pierwszych minutach toczyło się w dość wolnym tempie, a jako pierwsi zagrozili rywalom gospodarze. Mikołaj Lebedyński w piątej minucie przejął w polu karnym piłkę zagraną z rzutu wolnego, lecz nie zdołał uderzyć w światło bramki. Na kolejną sytuację czekaliśmy do 19 minuty, gdy Dominik Piła znalazł się z piłką z lewej strony pola karnego i mimo ostrego kąta oddał strzał obroniony przez Daniela Kajzera. Chwilę później znów z lewej strony gospodarze zacentrowali na szósty metr, gdzie głową uderzył eksarkowiec Michał Rzuchowski, a Kajzer znów wykazał się swoimi umiejętnościami. 

W szesnastce gospodarzy zaiskrzyło dopiero w 25 minucie. Wtedy z piłką w pole karne wbiegł Kobacki, skorzystał z odrobiny przestrzeni i oddał strzał, który jednak Mavroudis Bougaidis zdążył zablokować. Pięć minut później znów z lewej strony zagroził Arce Piła. Młody zawodnik gospodarzy zagrał wzdłuż trzeciego metra, piłka przeszła po ręce Kajzera, ale szczęśliwie nie dotarła do żadnego piłkarza z Głogowa. Minutę później niezły strzał z dystansu oddał Michał Michalec, lecz ostatecznie piłka minęła światło naszej bramki. 

Bramkarz Chrobrego musiał interweniować dopiero w 34 minucie spotkania. Po rzucie wolnym wykonywanym przez Deję spod linii bocznej niezbyt fortunnie interweniował Hubert Turski, bo piłka po jego nodze zmierzała w kierunku bramki, ale Rafał Leszczyński zachował czujność i pewnie ją złapał. Niestety, była to jedyna okazja do wykazania się przez bramkarza gospodarzy w pierwszej połowie. 

W 43 minucie przykrego urazu doznał Mateusz Stępień. Bezpardonowo jego nogi zaatakował Bougaidis, a młody piłkarz Arki nie był wstanie kontynuować dalej gry. Powtórki nie pozostawiały wątpliwości, że obrońca gospodarzy powinien za to wylecieć z hukiem z boiska, ale… akurat w tym meczu nie było VAR-u.

W drugiej połowie w miejsce Stępnia na boisku pojawił się Artur Siemaszko i to właśnie on oddał pierwszy celny strzał na bramkę Chrobrego. Już 60 sekund od wznowienia gry sprytnie uderzył piłkę zagraną z lewej strony przez Valcarce, a Leszczyński ofiarnie odbił piłkę zmierzającą pod poprzeczkę jego bramki! Kilka chwil później po dośrodkowaniu z rzutu rożnego niecelnie główkował Kasperkiewicz. 

Nie upłynęła kolejna minuta, a gdynianie znów stworzyli zagrożenie pod bramką Chrobrego. Znów dobrze zachował się na lewym skrzydle Valcarce, dośrodkował w pole karne, a Kobacki niezbyt udanie spróbował uderzyć z powietrza. Ten sam zawodnik niedługo później pokusił się o strzał z dystansu, lecz nie była to celna próba. 

Po godzinie gry boisko musiał opuścić Sebastian Milewski, który stał się drugą ofiarą Bougaidisa w tym spotkaniu. Tym razem obrońca Chrobrego trafił w kolano gdyńskiego zawodnika, co okazało się zbyt bolesne, aby pomocnik mógł pozostać na boisku. Kolejna wymuszona zmiana spowodowała nieco zamieszania w szeregach Arki i być może była praprzyczyną tego, co stało się w 65 minucie gry. Z rzutu rożnego dośrodkował Rzuchowski, a w polu karnym znalazł się nie pilnowany przez nikogo Michalec, który strzałem głową pod poprzeczkę dał prowadzenie Chrobremu. 

W 71 minucie kolejna kontuzja w szeregach Arki, tym razem zejść z boiska musiał Kobacki, którego zastąpił Maciej Rosołek. Wypożyczony z Legii Warszawa napastnik przeprowadził zaraz po wejściu na boisko akcję, po której Czubak z kilku metrów posłał piłkę wysoko ponad bramką gospodarzy. Karol już dwie minuty później znów był bliski gola, gdyby tylko sięgnął futbolówkę zagraną w poprzek pola karnego przez Kasperkiewicza. Zabrakło kilku centymetrów. 

W 79 minucie Christian Aleman wykonał rzut wolny z prawej strony pola karnego. W swoim stylu zdecydował się na strzał przy bliższym słupku, ale Leszczyński był na to przygotowany. Pół minuty później bramkarza Chrobrego wyręczył Bougaidis, który zablokował uderzenie Ekwadorczyka z 14 metra.

Ataki Arki były coraz częstsze, a piłka rzadko opuszczała okolice pola karnego Chrobrego. W 85 minucie 18 metrów na wprost bramki Leszczyńskiego sfaulowany został Deja, sam poszkodowany jednak z rzutu wolnego trafił prosto w mur.

Doliczony czas gry, poza kilkoma dośrodkowaniami w pole karne, nie przyniósł już żadnego strzału na bramkę Chrobrego, natomiast… błyskawiczną akcję przeprowadzili gospodarze. Piła, pobiegł z piłką od połowy boiska sam na Kajzera, ale w decydującym momencie strzelił ponad bramką. Wynik ostatecznie nie uległ zmianie, co oznaczało, że Arka musiała się pogodzić z trzecią kolejną porażką. Porażką, która coraz bardziej oddala żółto-niebieskich od górnej części tabeli…
