Po zmianie stron gdyniankom udało się nieco zniwelować straty, co było następstwem słabszej gry rywalek, zdających się być usatysfakcjonowanymi wynikiem. Ostatnie 10 minut należało jednak znów do przyjezdnych, które w całym spotkaniu trafiły aż 17 razy zza linii 6,75 (VBW Arka trafiła 5 trójek), 8 razy zrobiła to Iagupova. Licznik ukraińskiej skrzydłowej zatrzymał się na 28 oczkach, a 22 punkty na swoim koncie miała Kayla McBride. Z double-double mecz zakończyła Elizabeth Williams (15 punktów, 11 zbiórek), natomiast Olcay Cakir zanotowała aż 11asyst! W zespole z Gdyni double double (12 punktów, 11 zbiórek) skompletowała Megan Gustafson, a po 15 punktów zdobyły Marissa Kastanek oraz Morgan Bertsch. Fantastyczne kontry wyprowadzała francuska rozgrywająca miejscowych Romane Bernies, jednak brakowało jej skuteczności.
W zespole VBW Arki dał się zauważyć brak Alice Kunek, a od początku sezonu nie gra też Angelika Slamova. Z trybun zmagania swoich koleżanek oglądali koszykarze Asseco Arki.
To piąta porażka mistrzyń Polski w 6 spotkaniu tegorocznych rozgrywek EuroLigi Kobiet, które w tabeli grupy B zajmują ostatnie miejsce. Kolejny mecz gdynianki rozegrają w Gironie z tamtejszym Spar. Hiszpański zespół po 6 kolejkach zajmuje 3 lokatę.
