Grupa Sierleccy Czarni Słupsk nadal w świetnej formie w Energa Basket Lidze! Asseco Arka miała pecha, że po zwycięstwie nad Anwilem we Włocławku kolejną ofiarą rozpędzonych słupszczan stali się właśnie gdynianie. W dodatku w gdyńskim zespole tuż przed meczem natapiły poważne zmiany kadrowe. Rozwiązano kontrakt z Mateuszem Kaszowskim, a w składzie drużyny pojawili się dwaj Amerykanie: rozgrywający Anthony Durham II i skrzydłowy Jacobi Boykins.
Rewelacyjnie spotkanie rozpoczął jeszcze niedawny arkowiec Mikołaj Witliński – dzięki jego akcjom goście prowadzili 8:0, a po trójce kolejnego eksgdynianina Bartosza Jankowskiego było jeszcze wyżejj! A po kolejnym zagraniu Witlińskiego przewaga gości wynosiła aż 18 punktów (2:20)! Asseco Arka miała ogromne problemy ze swoim atakiem, chociaż grę “rozruszał” trochę Anthony Durham. Po 10 minutach i trafieniu Adriana Kordalskiego było 10:23.
W drugiej kwarcie niezły fragment zanotował Nikola Misković, ale nie wystarczało to do efektywnego odrabiania strat. Ciągle bardzo dobrze grał Witliński, a swoje rzuty dokładał Jakub Musiał. Kolejne akcje Marka Klassena i Witlińskiego sprawiły, że po pierwszej połowie było 45:22 dla Grupa Sierleccy Czarnych, a niedawny koszykarz Asseco Arki miał na koncie aż 19 oczek!
W kolejnej części meczu po trójce Lewisa Beecha przewaga przyjezdnych wynosiła już 25 punktów. Ważnym graczem był też Musiał, który nie tylko w ataku, ale też w obronie pomagał zespołowi. Asseco Arka nadal nie była w stanie nawiązać rywalizacji z zespołem trenera Mantasa Cesnauskisa. Gdynianie byli momentami bezradni, a po akcjach Czarnych ręce same składały się do oklasków. Po efektownej akcji Kalifa Younga po 30 minutach było już 68:36. Dopiero w czwartej kwarcie gospodarze trafili swoją pierwszą trójkę – a jej autorem był Bartłomiej Wołoszyn, który zresztą klika chwil później skopiował swój wyczyn. Sporo minut dostawał Adrian Kordalski i radził sobie całkiem nieźle, a później trójki trafiał też Błażej Kulikowski. Słupszczanie już do końca całkowicie kontrolowali wydarzenia na parkiecie i ostatecznie zwyciężyli różnicą 28 punktów (59: 87)! Można powiedzieć, że beniaminek udzielił Asseco Arce srogiej lekcji koszykówki.
Najlepszym zawodnikiem gości był Mikołaj Witliński z 19 punktami i 3 zbiórkami. W ekipie gospodarzy najlepszy był Adrian Bogucki z 13 punktami i 6 zbiórkami. O jeden punkt ustąpił mu kapitan zespołu, Bartłomiej Wołoszyn.
