Aż jedenaście punktów mieli o odrobienia żużlowcy Zdunek Wybrzeża do swojego rywala i… zrobili to! Wygrali na własnym torze z Aforti Startem Gniezno 52:37 i zgarnęli przy tym punkt bonusowy. Najlepszym zawodnikiem wśród gospodarzy był Jakub Jamróg, zdobywca dwunastu punktów.
Mówi się, że dobre wejście w mecz pomaga zespołowi w dalszej jego fazie. I tak też było w tym przypadku. Gdańszczanie od pierwszych wyścigów prezentowali się zdecydowanie lepiej niż ich rywale, wygrywali większość startów, lepiej rozgrywali pierwszy łuk i stopniowi budowali przewagę. W pewnym momencie przewaga urosła do dziewiętnastu punktów i wydawało się, że bonus jest na wyciągnięcie ręki. Gnieźnianie potrafili jednak odrobić straty i przed wyścigami nominowanymi w dwumeczu zrobiły się zaledwie dwa punkty przewagi na korzyść Wybrzeża, ale w czternastym podwójne zwycięstwo odniosła para Krystian Pieszczek – Wiktor Kułakow i stało się jasne, że bonus zostaje nad morzem.
Zawody trwały długo, komisarz toru miał bowiem zastrzeżenia odnośnie nawierzchni na obu łukach. Często zarządzano roszenie i równanie toru. Oczywiście nic nie dzieje się bez powodu. W czwartym biegu groźnie wyglądający upadek zanotowali Marcel Studziński i Philip Hellstroem-Baengs, co ten pierwszy okupił urazem i więcej na torze się nie pojawił. W dalszej fazie meczu zawodnicy obu drużyn momentami mieli problemy z płynnym pokonywaniem łuków.
O ile w ciemno można było zakładać bardzo dobry występ Kułakowa, o tyle sensacyjnie wręcz dobrze zaprezentował się Piotr Gryszpiński. I aż trudno uwierzyć, że menedżer Eryk Jóźwiak skorzystał z niego wyłącznie trzykrotnie. Oprócz tej dwójki świetnie pojechali Rasmus Jensen, Jakub Jamróg oraz wspomniany Pieszczek.
Wybrzeże wygrało za trzy punkty i wciąż pozostaje w grze o play-offy.
Bieg po biegu:
1. (65,28) Jensen, Fajfer, Jamróg, Kildemand 4:2
Pewna wygrana Jensena. Jamróg przez cztery okrążenia ścigał Fajfera, ale ostatecznie szybszy na mecie był zawodnik gości.
2. (66,38) Szczotka, Gryszpiński, Czapla, Studziński 5:1 (9:3)
Świetny start gdańszczan. Szczotka od razu wyszedł na prowadzenie, a na wyjściu z pierwszego łuku dołączył do niego Gryszpiński i gospodarze bardzo pewnie dowieźli pięć punktów.
3. (65,06) Kułakow, Jakobsen, Lahti, Gruchalski 3:3 (12:6)
Jakobsen prowadził po starcie, ale na początku drugiego okrążenia świetnym atakiem minął go Kułakow. Daleko z tyłu Gruchalski.
4. (66,25) Pieszczek, Gryszpiński, Hellstroem-Baengs (w), Studziński (w) 5:0 (17:6)
Hellstroem-Baengs w miejsce Szwachera jako rezerwa taktyczna. Obaj gnieźnianie zanotowali upadek na wejściu w pierwszy łuk drugiego okrążenia. Obaj zostali też wykluczeni z powtórki. Na tor wyjechała jednak karetka. Studziński ucierpiał w tym upadku. Młodzieżowiec gości opuszcza tor w rzeczonej karetce. Dostaliśmy informację, że Studziński oraz Hellstroem-Baengs są zdolni do dalszej jazdy. W powtórce Pieszczek dojechał do mety przed Gryszpińskim.
5. (64,69) Jamróg, Fajfer, Gruchalski, Hellstroem-Baengs 4:2 (21:8)
Hellstroem-Baengs po raz kolejny zmienia Szwachera. Bardzo pewne zwycięstwo Jamroga. Hellstroem-Baengs zanotował defekt motocykla, ale dojechał do mety.
6. (64,50) Kildemand, Kułakow, Jakobsen, Szczotka (d) 2:4 (23:12)
Kułakow prowadził przez trzy i pół okrążenia, ale wreszcie minął go szybki Kildemand.
7. (65,72) Lahti, Pieszczek, Jensen, Czapla 3:3 (26:15)
Wyścig bez historii, natomiast zawodnicy mają coraz większe problemy z płynnym pokonywaniem łuków. Czapla zanotował defekt motocykla.
8. (64,53) Kułakow, Gryszpiński, Fajfer, Kildemand 5:1 (31:16)
Kildemand jako rezerwa taktyczna za Szwachera. Przestrzelony manewr gości, ponieważ Zdunek Wybrzeże wygrywa podwójnie. Kułakow odniósł pewne zwycięstwo, a drugi do mety dojechał Gryszpiński, zostawiając w pokonanym polu dużo bardziej doświadczonych rywali.

Doskonały start Jensena. Niewiele brakowało, a na przeciwległej prostej dołączyłby do niego Pieszczek, ale odbił się od bandy wytracił prędkość.

Czapla za Studzińskiego jako rezerwa taktyczna. Wybrzeże prowadziło podwójnie, jednak na drugim łuku zarzuciło motocyklem Gruchalskiego i ten spadł na ostatnią pozycję. Gruchalski zdołał jednak wyprzedził Czaplę, który również miał problemy na drugim łuku.

Fajfer za Szwachera jako rezerwa taktyczna. Wydawało się, że gospodarze lepiej wyszli ze startu, ale pierwszy łuk należał do Startu. Było 5:1 dla przyjezdnych, ale Jensen odważnym atakiem minął Fajfera. Gruchalski zjechał z toru, a na ostatnim okrążeniu defekt motocykla zanotował Fajfer, jednak dojechał do mety po jeden punkt.
12. (64,81) Jamróg, Jakobsen, Czapla, Szczotka 3:3 (44:27)
Pewna wygrana Jamroga, który wyszedł na prowadzenie na wyjściu z pierwszego łuku. Szczotka dobrze wystartował, ale potem kompletnie nie radził sobie na torze i dojechał do mety daleko za rywalami.

Pewna wygrana gości. Będą emocje w biegach nominowanych. W dwumeczu Wybrzeże prowadzi 84:82.

Pieszczek wystrzelił ze startu i niezagrożony dojechał do mety. Wybrzeże wygrywa podwójnie i zapewnia sobie punkt bonusowy.

Jamróg na ostatnim okrążeniu wyprzedizł Kildemanda.
