Duża w tym zasługa Alice Kunek, która rzuciła 8 z 14 pierwszych punktów VBW Arki. Drużyna trenera Gundarsa Vetry trafiła także pięć razy zza linii 6,75 (przy „zerowym” koncie trafień gospodyń). Oprócz wspomnianej Kunek, skutecznie grała także Angelika Slamova (9 punktów), a także tradycyjnie już Miskiniene. Po drugiej stronie wynik „trzymały” Megan Gustafson oraz Shatori Walker-Kimbrough.
Po zmianie stron seria (7:0) przyjezdnych, zbudowała 14 – punktową przewagę (55:41). A punkty w tym fragmencie zdobywały głównie Kunek, Miskiniene oraz Marissa Kastanek. Kolejne minuty to w dalszym ciągu skuteczna gra aktualnych mistrzyń Polski, które po 30 minutach prowadziły (64:50).
W ostatniej kwarcie obraz gry nie uległ zmianie, a grająca kolejny mecz bez Barbory Balintovej VBW Arka Gdynia pewnie wygrała (90:70).
Liderką drużyny z Pomorza była Alice Kunek, która uzbierała 17 punktów, a „oczko” mniej dodała Angelika Slamova. Laura Miskiniene tym razem zapisała na swoim koncie 15 punktów oraz 8 zbiórek. W piętnastu poprzednich kolejnych meczach ligowych Litwinka zaliczała double double. Do szesnastego zabrakło dwóch zbiórek.
