Zupełnie inaczej niż w pierwszym meczu z Asvel Feminin rozpoczęły drugie spotkanie w Stambule koszykarki z Gdyni. Co prawda pierwsze punkty należały do Satou Sabally, ale niemal natychmiast trójką odpowiedziała Alice Kunek i zawodniczki Gundarsa Vetry objęły prowadzenie. Na dwie minuty przed przerwą pięknym lay-upem wyrównała Spanou, a chwilę później najpierw Angelika Slamova, a potem Barbora Balintova dały swojej ekipie przewagę 4 punktów przed zejściem do szatni (44:40).
Pierwsze minuty po zmianie stron także należały do mistrzyń Polski, które zwiększyły dystans do oczek (50:44), co zmusiło szkoleniowca Fenerbahce do skorzystania z przerwy. Dało to efekt dość szybko, miejscowe odrobiły straty z nawiązką, a żółto-niebieskie… przez dwie minuty nie mogły trafić do kosza. Dopiero Sonja Greinacher w połowie kwarty przywróciła na tablicy remis, a Balintova po siedmiu minutach tej części meczu przywróciła Arce czteropunktowe prowadzenie. Końcówka kwarty należała jednak do miejscowych i po trafieniach Stokes i Zandalasini tablica znów pokazywała remis (56:56).
Czwarta kwarta to od początku wymiana ciosów. Na punkty Kayli McBride odpowiadały trójkami Slamova i Miskiniene. Po trafieniu Spanou na tablicy wyników pojawiły się cztery szóstki (66:66)
Gdy wydawało się, że VBW Arka może sprawić niespodziankę, McBride i Olcay Cakir dały swojemu zespołowi czteropunktową przewagę, a Sabally w końcówce trafiając osiem z ośmiu (!) rzutów wolnych odebrała gdyńskim koszykarkom nadzieję. Reprezentująca Niemcy, córka Gambijczyka i Niemki w całym spotkaniu uzbierała 23 punkty, z czego 11 z rzutów wolnych (8 w ostatnich 2,5 minutach). Dodała do tego 8 zbiórek oraz 5 asyst. Jeden punkt mniej uzyskała Kayla McBride (+ zb., 3 as.). W drużynie Arki 20 punktów rzuciła Alice Kunek, a po 14 uzbierały na swoim koncie Artemis Spanou oraz Barbora Balintova. Słowacka rozgrywająca rozdała również aż 13 asyst! Bliska double double, do czego nas przyzwyczaiła na polskich parkietach , była także Miskiniene, której do tego osiągnięcia zabrakło jednej zbiórki (11 pkt., 9 zb.).
Zawodniczki trenera Vetry wygrały walkę na tablicach (37:33 zb.) oraz częściej dzieliły się piłką (20:13 as.), a mimo to zeszły z parkietu pokonane. O sukcesie Fenerbahce zdecydowała przede wszystkim absolutna skuteczność z linii rzutów wolnych (22 na 22 próby!)
