Runmageddon ERGO Arena!
Sezon 2020 nie mógłby zostać uznany za udany bez ekstremalnego biegu z przeszkodami na nadmorskim terenie. W weekend 12 i 13 września Runmageddon powróci na północ Polski, by kolejny raz zaserwować Uczestnikom niecodzienne wrażenia w najwyższej jakości. Dopełnieniem wyjątkowego klimatu wydarzenia będzie lokalizacja, do której po latach Runmageddon powraca, czyli ERGO ARENA.
Już we wrześniu, na terenie Gdańska i Sopotu Uczestnicy będą mogli zmierzyć się z trasami o trzech poziomach trudności. Dla debiutantów, którzy po raz pierwszy staną na linii startu Organizator przygotował formułę Intro, czyli 3 kilometry z 15 przeszkodami. Ci natomiast, którzy liczą na dłuższą i trudniejszą przygodę mogą wybrać formułę Rekrut – 6 kilometrów najeżonych 30 przeszkodami, w wersji dziennej i nocnej oraz Classic, czyli 12 kilometrową trasę z 50 przeszkodami. Atrakcji nie zabraknie także dla młodszych adeptów sportowych wyzwań. Dzieci w wieku od 4 do 11 lat będą mogły pokonać 10 przeszkód na jednokilometrowej trasie Kids, Juniorzy natomiast, czyli młodzież między 12 a 15 rokiem życia przeżyje niezapomnianą dwukilometrową przygodę z 15 przeszkodami. Organizatorzy nie zapomnieli także o rodzinach – będą mogły wspólnie powalczyć w maksymalnie 5 osobowych drużynach na trasie formuły Family.
Zapisów na bieg można nadal dokonać online na stronie www.runmageddon.pl. Organizator zaznacza, że wydarzenie odbywa się z zachowaniem obowiązującego reżimu sanitarnego i z troską o bezpieczeństwo Uczestników.
Runmageddon jest największym w Polsce i najbardziej ekstremalnym w Europie cyklicznym biegiem przez przeszkody. Zmagania odbywają się w kilkunastu lokalizacjach rocznie. W ubiegłym roku w 17 wydarzeniach wystartowało blisko 89 tysięcy osób, w tym 68 000 dorosłych i 21 000 dzieci, młodzieży i całych rodzin. Od początku istnienia cyklu do mety imprez dotarło już ponad 250 tysięcy uczestników. W 2019 roku Runmageddon kontynuował ekspansję zagraniczną, organizując kolejne edycje biegów z przeszkodami na Saharze oraz w górach Kaukaz.
Specyfika tej formy aktywności polega przede wszystkim na dobrej zabawie, ale pozwala też sprawdzić siebie. Dzięki ogromnemu wysiłkowi fizycznemu i psychicznemu, w którym pokonuje się swoje słabości, a dopiero potem rywali, uczestnicy poznają swoje maksymalne możliwości. Mają oni do przebycia różne odcinki trasy z torami przeszkód – wspinają się, czołgają, brną w błocie, skaczą, a także mierzą z wodą oraz ogniem. Do wyboru dla osób po 16 r.ż. są cztery formuły – INTRO (3 km i 15+ przeszkód), REKRUT (6 km i 30+ przeszkód), CLASSIC (12 km i 50+ przeszkód) oraz HARDCORE (21 km i 70+ przeszkód). Dla dzieci 4-11 lat dedykowana jest formula KIDS, zaś dla młodzieży między 12- 15 rokiem życia – Junior. Od roku 2019 Runmageddon zaczął zapraszać do ekstremalnego starcia całe rodziny, przygotowując dla nich Runmageddon Family.
