Siedem sekund od szczęścia! PGNiG Superliga nie dla Arki!

Z karnego wyrównuje Adrian Kondratiuk. Gdynianie długo rozgrywają piłkę. Na kilkanaście sekund przed syreną Rafał Jamioł decyduje się na rzut. Trafia! Arka znów prowadzi. Wydaje się, że osiąga cel. Gdańszczanie jednak szybko wznawiają i Jacek Sulej nie atakowany przeprowadza szybki atak i na siedem sekund przed końcem wyrównuje. A zatem rzuty karne!

Zaczyna Energa Wybrzeże, pierwszy trafia Kondratiuk. Celnym rzutem odpowiada Rafał Rychlewski. Swój rzut psuje Krzysztof Gądek, ale uderzenie Michała Skwierawskiego broni gdański bramkarz. Na celny rzut Mateusza Wróbla pudłem natomiast odpowiada Robert Kamyszek. Wojciech Prymlewicz trafia dla Gdańska, ale szanse gdynian przedłuża jeszcze Borys Brukwicki. Do piłki podchodzi Piotr Papaj. Jeśli trafi, to koniec. Rzuca mocno i celnie, strącając Arkę w otchłań.

Siedem sekund zabrakło zawodnikom Dawida Nilssona do szczęścia. Siedem sekund… Tak naprawdę jednak zabrakło punktu. JEDNEGO punktu. Może tego, który odebrał im dziś Sulej, a może tego nie zdobytego w końcówce pierwszego spotkania derbowego, w Gdyni, albo tego, który uciekł Arce w ostatnich sekundach meczu z Energą MKS Kalisz. Te wszystkie frajersko przegrane mecze odbiły się dziś arkowcom czkawką. Przede wszystkim, oczywiście dzisiejszy.

A rozpoczęło się tak pięknie. Wynik otworzył Kamyszek, już w drugiej minucie. Gospodarze pierwsze trafienie zanotowali dopiero w 8 minucie spotkania. Arka zdobyła do tego czasu trzy, a sam Krzysztof Jasowicz mógł zaliczyć jeszcze cztery (!). Z uporem godnym lepszej sprawy trafiał jednak w bramkarza gdańszczan. Mimo to goście po 10 minutach prowadzili 5:1. Energa otrząsnęła się jednak z przewagi rywali i rozpoczęła odrabianie strat. Do 19 minuty walka była w miarę równorzędna, ale potem nastąpił szturm miejscowych, w wyniku którego w 26 minucie Prymlewicz dał im trzypunktową przewagę. Na przerwę zespoły schodziły przy stanie 16:14 dla gospodarzy. Identyczny rezultat był w tym czasie w Lubinie. Zagłębie prowadziło ze Stalą Mielec. Ta sytuacja promowała Arkę.

Gdynianie nie chcieli jednak zostawiać wszystkiego w rękach Zagłębia i po przerwie rozpoczęli pogoń za rywalami. Kilkakrotnie ich nawet dochodzili, ale zawodnicy Thomasa Orneborga ponownie odjeżdżali na 2-3 bramki. Wreszcie w 59 minucie szturm gdynian przyniósł skutek. Jasowicz, ten który w pierwszej połowie mógł przechylić szalę na korzyść swojej drużyny rzuca 25. bramkę, otwierającą arkowcom drogę do baraży. Dalej wszystko potoczyło się tak, jak na wstępie.

Biorąc pod uwagę cały sezon, Arka bezsprzecznie zasłużyła na spadek. Była bowiem zdecydowanie najgorszym zespołem całego sezonu. Trzy zwycięstwa w rundzie finałowej obudziły jednak apetyty i nadzieje. Za brakło tylko tego „głupiego” jednego punktu.
