Runmageddon Morski Gdynia
Runmageddon Gdynia zaplanowany jest na weekend 8-9 czerwca i odbędzie się w Parku Kolibki oraz na okolicznej plaży. Składać się będzie z 5 klasycznych formuł – trzech dla dorosłych i po jednej dla dzieci 4-11 lat oraz dla młodzieży 12-15 lat oraz z wyjątkowego biegu Nocny Rekrut.
Podczas runmageddonowego weekendu początkujący dorośli oraz nastolatkowie po 16 roku życia ( za osobistą zgodą rodzica) zmierzą się z trasą INTRO o długości 3 kilometrów i z 15 przeszkodami. Aktywni sportowo miłośnicy biegów z przeszkodami będą mogli wybrać trasę REKRUT mierzącą 6 kilometrów i zastawioną 30 utrudnieniami lub też najdłuższą trasę tej edycji, czyli 12 kilometrowy CLASSIC z 50 konstrukcjami. Dzieci w wieku 4-11 lat będą mogły pobiec jednokilometrową trasą KIDS naszpikowaną 10 przeszkodami. Młodzież 12-15 lat zmierzy się z formułą Junior – dwukilometrowym dystansem najeżonym 15 konstrukcjami.

Runmageddon jest największym w Polsce i najbardziej ekstremalnym w Europie cyklicznym biegiem przez przeszkody. Zmagania odbywają się w kilkunastu lokalizacjach rocznie. W ubiegłym roku w 20 wydarzeniach wystartowało blisko 79 tysięcy osób, w tym 67 000 dorosłych i 12 000 dzieci. Od początku istnienia cyklu do mety imprez dotarło już ponad 180 tysięcy uczestników. W 2018 roku Runmageddon rozpoczął swoje ekspansję zagraniczną, organizując pierwszy bieg z przeszkodami na Saharze oraz w górach Kaukaz.
Specyfika tej formy aktywności polega przede wszystkim na dobrej zabawie, ale pozwala też sprawdzić siebie. Dzięki ogromnemu wysiłkowi fizycznemu i psychicznemu, w którym pokonuje się swoje słabości, a dopiero potem rywali, uczestnicy poznają swoje maksymalne możliwości. Mają oni do przebycia różne odcinki trasy z torami przeszkód – wspinają się, czołgają, brną w błocie, skaczą, a także mierzą z wodą oraz ogniem. Do wyboru są cztery formuły – INTRO (3 km i 15+ przeszkód), REKRUT (6 km i 30+ przeszkód), CLASSIC (12 km i 50+ przeszkód) oraz HARDCORE (21 km i 70+ przeszkód).
