Agnieszka Kaszuba mistrzynią Polski!

W sobotę i niedzielę w grodzie Kopernika, w pięknej hali Arena Toruń, odbyły się 63. PZLA Halowe Mistrzostwa Polski Seniorów. Najlepszy wynik w tym roku w Polsce w skoku o tyczce uzyskała broniąca tytułu sprzed roku Agnieszka Kaszuba, która skacząc 4,20 m zdobyła złoty medal. Dodatkowo pierwszy raz w historii prowadzona była klasyfikacja w kategorii młodzieżowej U23, za sprawą czego jednego dnia zawodniczka Klubu Lekkoatletycznego „Gdynia” wywalczyła dwa medale ze złotego kruszcu. Był to dla niej kolejno 11 i 12 tytuł mistrzyni Polski. Sukces jest tym większy, iż podczas całych mistrzostw tylko Agnieszka zdobyła dwa złote medale w kategorii zarówno seniorskiej, jak i młodzieżowej.

Warto dodać, że zawodniczka z Gdyni w sezonie letnim cały czas zmagała się z kontuzją, co uniemożliwiło jej zaprezentowanie się w pełni formy na otwartym stadionie. Teraz mistrzyni Polski przygotowywać się będzie do letnich 12. Mistrzostw Europy U23, które odbędą się w lipcu w Szwedzkim Gävle. Minimum na te imprezę, jest niższe od jej rekordu życiowego, które zgodnie z wytycznymi Polskiego Związku Lekkiej Atletyki wynosi 4,15 m.

Nietypowy miting odbył się z kolei w Bydgoszczy. W centrum handlowym odbyła się pierwsza tego typu impreza tyczkarska w Polsce. Zawodnicy Klubu Lekkoatletycznego „Gdynia” z przyjemnością przyjęli zaproszenie do wystartowania w tak innowacyjnych zawodach. Reprezentanci klubu nie tylko ustanowili na nich rekordy życiowe, ale zajmowali czołowe lokaty w różnych kategoriach wiekowych:

  • w kategorii U12 dziewcząt z wyrównanym rekordem życiowym zwyciężyła Julia Torlińska (rocznik 2008), która skoczyła 2,50 m. Druga z naszych zawodniczek Natalia Sarawi ustanowiła rekord życiowy, skacząc 1,80 m i stanęła na drugim stopniu podium;

  • w kategorii U12 chłopców równych sobie nie miał Konrad Złoch (rocznik 2008), który ustanowił rekord życiowy na wysokości 2,60 m i rywali przeskoczył zdecydowanie;

  • w kategorii U18, skacząc 3,00 m Martyna Poręba zajęła drugie miejsce. Warto dodać, że dla starszych zawodników rozbieg był nieco krótszy, przez co zawodniczki zamiast skakać z 16 kroków miały rozbieg skrócony do 10 lub 12;

  • w kategorii U23 i kategorii Open zwyciężyła mistrzyni Polski w skoku o tyczce seniorów i młodzieżowców Agnieszka Kaszuba, która wynikiem 4,00 m nie miała tego dnia sobie równych, a do pokonania 4,10 m – zabrakło tak naprawdę tylko twardszych tyczek, których zawodniczka nie spodziewała się, że będzie potrzebować.

Dla najmłodszych zawodników jest to świetny prognostyk przed zbliżającym się wielkimi krokami nieoficjalnymi małymi mistrzostwami Polski, jakim będzie XXIV Festiwal Skoku o Tyczce im. Walentego Wejmana 27 kwietnia tego roku.
