Wynik spotkania otworzył skutecznym rzutem Rafał Jamioł. W odpowiedzi Adrian Nogowski ze skrzydła i remis. W 8. minucie celnie rzucił Robert Kamyszek (remis po 3). Z drugiej strony skutecznie Michał Peret (3:4 dla MMTS-u). Od 20. minuty gracze z Kwidzyna zaczęli powiększać przewagę do kilku bramek. Od stanu 8:9 po rzutach Michała Potocznego i Kacpra Adamskiego zrobiło się 10:13. W końcówce pierwszej połowy dwa celne rzuty Nogowskiego do pustej bramki dały pięć bramek przewagi i na przerwę szczypiorniści schodzili z wynikiem 12:17.
Po zmianie stron zawodnicy drużyny gospodarzy rzucili się do odrabiania strat. Celnie rzucali m.in. Dawid Przysiek, Jamioł i Kamyszek a dla gości Arkadiusz Ossowski. W 41. minucie po skutecznej akcji Wolskiego goście prowadzili już tylko dwiema bramkami (19:21). Jednak dwa razy trafia Adamski i ponownie prowadzenie wzrasta do czterech bramek (19:23). Kiedy w 54. minucie Wołowiec trafił do bramki gości wydawało się, że końcówka będzie bardzo wyrównana. Wynik na tablicy – 25:27. Jednak ponownie przyjezdni są skuteczniejsi i m.in. po trzech trafieniach Roberta Orzechowskiego prowadzą w tym spotkaniu. Ostatecznie MMTS wygrywa w Gdyni z Arką 33:27.
