Jastrzębie w półfinale LFA1!!!

Wicemistrzowie Polski nie dali najmniejszych szans ekipie Warsaw Sharks w meczu o dziką kartę, dającą przepustkę do półfinału LFA1. Jastrzębie rozbiły stołeczny zespół przed własną publicznością aż 41:0, czyli dokładnie identycznym rezultatem, jak w pierwszym starciu tych zespołów z początku maja.

Gospodarze bardzo szybko wyszli na prowadzenie, swoją pierwszą serię ofensywną kończąc 5-jardową akcją podaniową dającą touchdown Pawła Henicza. Za jeden punkt podwyższył Przemysław Portalski. Nie minęło wiele czasu i przewagę Seahawks powiększył krótkim biegiem na przyłożenie Szymon Syposz. Pierwsza kwarta zakończyła się sackiem na rozgrywającym Rekinów autorstwa Arkadiusza Cieśloka.

Od powalenia Bradleya Jones’a rozpoczęła się także druga część meczu. Tym razem sztuka ta udała się Jakubowi Stachyrze. Trzecie przyłożenie dla gospodarzy wywalczył Jakub Mazan, wykorzystując 32-jardową akcję podaniową. Przed zejściem obu ekip do szatni quarterback Warsaw Sharks jeszcze dwukrotnie został powalony przed linią wznowienia akcji. Najpierw samodzielnie dokonał tego Stachyra, a po chwili pomagał mu Cieślok. Do szatni wicemistrzowie Polski schodzili z prowadzeniem 28:0. Touchdown po 25-jardowej akcji podaniowej udało się bowiem zaliczyć Piotrowi Rudnickiemu. Po raz czwarty celnym podwyższeniem za jeden punkt popisał się natomiast Portalski.

W trzeciej kwarcie jako pierwszy indywidualnie wyróżnił się Jakub Muraszko, który przechwycił niecelne podanie słabo prezentującego się dzisiaj Jones’a. Największy błąd po stronie rozgrywającego Seahawks miał miejsce właśnie w tej części gry, kiedy Joseph Bradley za długo zwlekał z wyrzutem piłki, pozwalając Łukaszowi Przygodzińskiemu na powalenie go przed linią wznowienia akcji. W meczu tym sack udało się również zanotować graczowi Seahawks, Jackowi Banasiowi. Amerykański rozgrywający gdynian zrehabilitował się jednak kilka chwil później, obsługując dalekim podaniem Mazana i 66-jardowa akcja tego duetu pozwoliła powiększyć przewagę Jastrzębi. Po kolejnym udanym kopnięciu Portalskiego w życie weszło “mercy rule”.

Ostatnia odsłona tego starcia choć przebiegła szybko z uwagi na niezatrzymywanie czasu, pozwoliła Seahawks powiększyć jeszcze prowadzenie. Najpierw w polu punktowym po 46-jardowym biegu zameldował się Syposz, lecz sędziowie nie zaliczyli tego przyłożenia z uwagi na holding jednego z graczy gospodarzy. Po kilku minutach jednak touchdown udało się zaliczyć ponownie Rudnickiemu, tym razem po 37-jardowej akcji podaniowej, po czym arbiter ogłosił koniec meczu.

Seahawks dzięki wygranej 41:0 zaliczyli awans do meczu półfinałowego, który rozegrają w Białymstoku. Ostatniego półfinalistę poznamy jutro. Zostanie nim triumfator starcia Tychy Falcons – Kraków Kings.
