Niestety, to zadanie okazało się dla podopiecznych Przemysława Frasunkiewicza za trudne do wykonania, choć jeszcze do przerwy prowadzili.. Rosa jednak pokonała Asseco 89:74, mimo ambitnej gry przyjezdnych i zakończyła gdynianom sezon.
Po pierwszej kwarcie, wygranej przez gospodarzy 18:12 dzięki trójce Igora Zajcewa, wydawało się, że nic nie może im zagrozić w tym meczu. W drugiej części spotkania Asseco rzuciło jednak aż 27 punktów i po trójce Dariusza Wyki miało dwupunktową przewagę po pierwszej połowie. Trzecia kwarta była bardzo wyrównana i żadna z drużyn nie potrafiła zbudować prowadzenia, które dawałoby spokojną sytuację. Rosa wygrywała zaledwie punktem po 30 minutach gry. W ostatniej kwarcie zespół trenera Wojciecha Kamińskiego pokazał świetną formę w ataku, a ważnymi zawodnikami byli Patrik Auda i Zajcew. Ostatecznie radomianie zwyciężyli 89:74.
Igor Zajcew zdobył 17 punktów i 5 zbiórek dla gospodarzy. Mikołaj Witliński rzucił 22 punkty dla Asseco.
