Trzecią kwartę Polski Cukier rozpoczął od świetnej serii 11:0, a gospodarze przez blisko pięć minut nie potrafili zdobyć punktów. To pozwoliło ekipie trenera Dejana Mihevca objąć kontrolę nad tym meczem. W pewnym momencie miała nawet 15 punktów przewagi. Asseco potrafiło jeszcze zmniejszyć straty, ale po 30 minutach było już 53:60. Cheikh Mbodj zanotował dla gości 19 punktów i 10 zbiórek. Karol Gruszecki dorzucił 16 oczek i 6 zbiórek. Dla miejscowych Przemysław Żołnierewicz zdobył 16 punktów, 6 zbiórek i 4 asysty.
Asseco trafiło tylko cztery trójki. Ich średnia w tym elemencie przed tym meczem to 10,5.
Bardzo ważne były punkty z szybkiego ataku – Polski Cukier zanotował ich 19, natomiast Asseco tylko 8. Ponadto goście zaimponowali 100% skutecznością z linii rzutów wolnych. Trafili 10 razy na 10 prób.
