Bełchatowianie w hali Energia wygrali sześć ostatnich meczów bez straty seta. Od sześciu spotkań nie przegrali także z Treflem, tracąc w nich tylko dwa sety. W składzie gospodarzy nie było Mariusza Wlazłego, a gości Mateusza Miki.
W dzisiejszym meczu wyrównany był jedynie pierwszy set, choć początkowo wysoko prowadziła PGE Skra. Po ataku Bartosza Bednorza mieliśmy wynik 15:8. Jednak przewaga PGE Skry zaczęła maleć, aż zagrywka Wojciecha Ferensa sprawiła, ze na tablicy był remis 20:20. Dwa kolejne punkty zdobywają jednak gospodarze i tej przewagi już nie oddają.
W drugim i trzecim secie zawodnicy PGE Skry dali popis zagrywek. Celował w tym Milad Ebadipour. Świetnie atakował Nikolai Penchev. Widowisko momentami stawało się jednostronne i bełchatowianie odnieśli kolejne zasłużone zwycięstwo.
W końcówce było jeszcze trochę zamieszania w związku z błędem ustawienia i choć mecz już się zakończył, to po chwili musiał zostać wznowiony. Nie zmienił się jednak triumfator. PGE Skra zakończyła spotkanie w trzech setach, a MVP meczu został Milad Ebadipour.
