Kadetki Gdyńskiego Towarzystwa Koszykówki – VBW GTK Gdynia zajęły właśnie 2 miejsce na toczących się od minionej środy do niedzieli Mistrzostwach Polski do lat 16. Jedyną porażkę gdyńskie zawodniczki odniosły w finale, przegrywając z niezwykle silną ekipą MKS MOS Procom Systems Wrocław 50:94. Najlepszą zawodniczką zespołu została Zuzanna Kulińska, która znalazła się również w najlepszej piątce turnieju. Przypomnijmy, że ekipa ta dwa lata temu w Mistrzostwach Polski U14 zajęła trzecie miejsce. 

Kadra trenerska oraz zawodniczki gdyńskiego zespołu to również podstawa reprezentacji Polski do lat 16. Karolina Wieczorek – trener kadry, Monika Lelek – fizjoterapeuta, Zuzanna Klugman, Zuzanna Kulińska, Alicja Żytkowska – reprezentantki.
