Spotkanie nieźle rozpoczęła Polpharma, ale następnie zdecydowanie lepiej radzili sobie zawodnicy gospodarzy, którzy po trafieniach Przemysława Żołnierewicza prowadzili 14:11. Później sytuację znowu opanowali starogardzianie – głównie dzięki Urosowi Mirkoviciowi (16:24).
W drugiej kwarcie kolejne rzuty Filipa Puta i Szubargi sprawiły jednak, że mieliśmy kolejny remis. Sprawy w swoje ręce ponownie wzięli Marcin Flieger i Mirković, a to oznaczało, że pierwsze połowa zakończyła się ośmiopunktowym zwycięstwem zespołu z Kociewia (37:45).
W trzeciej kwarcie Polpharma starała się kontrolować sytuację, a pomagał w tym Martynas Paliukenas – to właśnie dzięki niemu starogardzianie wyszli nawet na 15 punktów przewagi. Dzięki trójkom Puta Asseco potrafiło zbliżyć się nawet na cztery punkty, ale po 30 minutach to goście wygrywali 65:57.
Ostatnia kwarta niczego już nie zmieniła – zespół ze Starogardu Gdańskiego był stroną przeważającą i spokojnie utrzymywał swoje prowadzenie. Mecz zakończył się wynikiem 86:69. Dzięki temu zwycięstwu Polpharma zakończyła rozgrywki na siódmym miejscu i w pierwszej rundzie play-off zmierzy się ze Stelmetem Zielona Góra
Po 19 punktów dla gości zanotowali Marcin Flieger i Uros Mirković. 16 punktów dodał do tego Anthony Miles. W ekipie gospodarzy wyróżniał się Przemysław Żołnierewicz z 18 punktami i siedmioma zbiórkami.
