Zwycięstwo w Nowym Sączu nie przyszło gdyniankom łatwo. Olimpia-Beskid Nowy Sącz od pierwszych minut potrafiła zaskoczyć. Drużyna, prowadzona przez Lucynę Zygmunt grała uważnie w obronie, a gdy w 19. minucie trafiła bramkę Katarzyna Pożoga, gospodynie prowadziły 10:8.
Zespół gości wyrównał po bramce Martyny Borysławskiej. Później zawodniczki Pawła Tetelewskiego rzuciły cztery bramki z rzędu i po trafieniu Joanny Kozłowskiej, prowadziły na minutę przed przerwą 14:11. W końcówce pierwszej połowy skuteczna była jednak Marta Rosińska i wszystko było jeszcze możliwe.
Po zmianie stron szczypiornistki z Gdyni zagrały bardzo dobrze w obronie. W ciągu ośmiu minut straciły zaledwie jedną bramkę, rzucając w tym czasie cztery i po raz pierwszy uzyskały pięciobramkową przewagę nad rywalkami. Miejscowe nie zamierzały tanio sprzedać skóry. Udało im się odrobić kilka bramek, ale w ostatnich siedemnastu minutach Monika Kobylińska i Katarzyna Janiszewska zrobiły różnicę w ataku, a dobra gra w obronie pozwoliła gospodyniom zaliczyć tylko cztery trafienia. Vistal całkowicie dominował na boisku i ostatecznie pokonał nowosądeczanki siedmioma bramkami.
W ostatnim meczu w tym roku gdynianki odniosły przekonujące zwycięstwo 29:22. W najbliższym czasie kilka zawodniczek weźmie udział w zgrupowaniu reprezentacji. Pozostałe będą przygotowywać się do drugiej rundy rozgrywek.
