XIX Mistrzostwa Polski Cheerleaders zakończone!

W Gdyńskiej Arenie odbyły się XIX Mistrzostwa Polski Cheerleaders – Gdynia Cheerleaders Cup 2016. Do walki stanęło prawie 600  cheerleaderek i cheerleaderów, którzy konkurowali w trzech dywizjach tanecznych : Pom Dance, Cheer Dance i Cheer rozgrywanych według przepisów Polskiego Stowarzyszenia Cheerleaders.

Wszyscy zawodnicy zaprezentowali bardzo wysoki poziom swoich umiejętności, udowadniając tym samym, że polskie zespoły mogą godnie reprezentować nasz kraj na arenie międzynarodowej.

Galę finałową pierwszego dnia zawodów otworzył gospodarz imprezy – dyrektor Szkoły Podstawowej nr 10 Marek Dąbkowski oraz wiceprezydent Gdyni Bartosz Bartoszewicz. Turniejowi towarzyszyła profesjonalna oprawa sceniczna godna nie tylko Mistrzostw Polski, ale i Mistrzostw Europy. Gra świateł i różnorodnych efektów audiowizualnych stanowiła tło dla barwnych choreografii podkreślając jeszcze bardziej ich piękno.

Podczas pierwszego dnia rywalizacji zaprezentowały się zespoły z kilkunastu zakątków Polski. – To niebywały zaszczyt gościć w naszym mieście tak uzdolnione dzieci, młodzież, ale również  i osoby dorosłe, które z ogromnym zaangażowaniem realizują swoją pasję, jaką jest cheerleading. powiedział Marek Dąbkowski, który jet także przewodniczącym Rady Dzielnicy Chylonia.

Oprócz kilkudziesięciu zespołów, które stanęły do walki o mistrzostwo Polski jako gość specjalny zaprezentowały się cheerleaderki  tańczące na wózkach z zespołu Cheerleaders Trefl Pomorze. Dziewczęta trenuje Monika Matusewicz – Herrman, na ręce której prezes Polskiego Stowarzyszenia Cheerleaders, Bartosz Penkala przekazał Puchar Fair Play.

Gdynia Cheerleaders Cup 2016 zgromadziła „śmietankę” polskiego cheerleadingu  – najlepsze zespoły z całej Polski, które udowodniły, że ich poziom w żadnym stopniu nie odbiega od światowego.

Ceremonii otwarcia drugiego dnia mistrzostw dokonała Joanna Zielińska, przewodnicząca Rady Miasta Gdyni.

Łącznie rozegrano kilkanaście konkurencji tanecznych różniących się stopniem trudności wykonywanych elementów określonych w przepisach oraz podzielonych na kilka kategorii wiekowych.
