Zawodnicy startujący w zmaganiach Pucharu ROK CUP POLAND zakończyli oficjalnie sezon 2014. Ostatnie dwie rundy serii rozegrane zostały na kartingowej nitce toru “Poznań”.
Nie mogło tam oczywiście zabraknąć reprezentantów Automobilklubu Morskiego – braci Macieja i Szymona Szyszko oraz Marcela Jastrzębowskiego.
XV runda była popisem jazdy Maćka w kategorii MINI ROK. Maciek zajął w półfinale 1, a w finale 2 miejsce co pozwoliło ukończyć rundę na najwyższym stopniu podium.
Szymek i Marcel w kategorii JUNIOR ROK zajęli w półfinale odpowiednio 3 i 9 miejsce, natomiast w finale 4 i 10 miejsce, kończąc rundę na 4 i 9 miejscu.
XVI runda nie była już tak szczęśliwa dla naszych zawodników. Odpowiednio w swoich kategoriach Maciek, Szymek i Marcel zajęli 4, 10 i 7 miejsce.
W podsumowaniu tegorocznych zmagań Maciek zwyciężył w kategorii MINI ROK, Szymon i Marcel zajęli w kategorii JUNIOR ROK odpowiednio 6 oraz 7 miejsce w klasyfikacji generalnej.
W ciągu całego sezonu 2014 Maciek Szyszko aż 11 razy stawał na podium, z tego pięciokrotnie zajmując 1 miejsce. Warto zaznaczyć, że w kategorii MINI ROK występowało aż 28 zawodników. Szymon z kolei miejsce na podium JUNIOR ROKA (20 kierowców), wywalczył 3 razy a Marcel 2 razy.
Przed nami ostatnie zawody sezonu 2014 w Polsce ROTAX MAX CHELLENGE POLAND, które odbędą się na torze w Radomiu, gdzie również walczyć o zwycięstwo będą zawodnicy Automobilklubu Morskiego w Gdyni.
Czekamy także z niecierpliwością na jesienne starty naszych zawodników poza granicami kraju w zawodach rangi Pucharu Świata.
