W sobotę kibice na stadionie w Legnicy byli świadkami historycznego, najwyższego remisu w dziejach klubu. 30 sierpnia miejscowa Miedź zremisowała z Arką Gdynia 4:4. 

Oba zespoły weszły w sezon zdecydowanie poniżej oczekiwań, zatem chciały się pokazać i zapowiadały zwycięstwo w sobotniej kampanii.

Legniczanie mecz rozpoczęli z wysokiego C, strzelając bramkę już w 5 minucie, po ładnym prostopadłym zagraniu, którego nie udało się przejąć Michałowi Marcjanikowi, przez co Wojciech Łobodziński znalazł się sam na sam z Łukaszem Skowronem i nie zmarnował sytuacji, umieszczając piłkę w długim rogu bramki. 

Już 2 minuty później, po rzucie rożnym, bramkę zdobył jednak Antoni Łukasiewicz, co dało Arce wyrównanie.

Podopieczni Dariusza Dźwigały nie zadowolili się wyrównaniem, poszli za ciosem i w 13. minucie już prowadzili 2:1. Po kolejnym rzucie rożnym celnym strzałem z bliskiej odległości popisał się Grzegorz Lech, który wrócił do składu po tym jak cały poprzedni mecz z Widzewem Łódź przesiedział na ławce rezerwowych. 

W dalszej części pierwszej połowy arkowcy wciąż naciskali gospodarzy. Dobre sytuacje do zdobycia gola mieli m.in. Bartosz Ława oraz Aleksander Jagiełło, ale niestety do przerwy wynik nie uległ już zmianie, a na tablicy widniał wynik dający zwycięstwo żółto-niebieskim – 2:1. Jednak prawdziwe emocje miały się dopiero zacząć, a druga połowa była prawdziwym horrorem.

 

Drugą część gry dobrze rozpoczęli Arkowcy, szturmując bramkę Miedzi, lecz zespół z Dolnego Śląska również nie rezygnował z prób zdobycia bramki, a dopiął swego w 61 minucie, kiedy ładnym, mocnym strzałem po ziemi w dolny róg bramki pokonał Skowrona Adrian Woźniczka, doprowadzając ponownie do wyrównania. 

Jednak goście nie załamali się tym faktem. W 65. minucie bliski szczęścia po uderzeniu z rzutu wolnego był Michał Nalepa, ale świetnie w bramce Miedzi spisał się Aleksander Ptak. 

W 73. min po kolejnym rzucie rożnym na prowadzeniu znów była Arka, tym razem gola zdobył Marcjanik. Jednak już cztery minuty później znów był remis. Ładną akcję gospodarzy przytomnym strzałem z 11 metrów wykończył rezerwowy Patryk Szymański. Ten sam piłkarz w 80. min wyprowadził gospodarzy na prowadzenie 4:3. 

Mogłoby się wydawać, że dwa szybko strzelone gole zdruzgocą żółto-niebieskich, ale w 83 minucie jeden z obrońców Miedzi zagrał piłkę ręką w polu karnym, a rzut karny na bramkę zamienił Antonio Calderon, który wciąż nie zachwyca swoją grą w barwach Arki. 

W samej końcówce tego szalonego meczu, drugą żółtą kartkę i w konsekwencji czerwoną zobaczył jeszcze Krzysztof Sobieraj (wcześniej czerwoną kartkę zobaczył będący od kilku minut poza boiskiem piłkarz Miedzi Mateusz Szczepaniak), jednak wynik już nie uległ zmianie.

Arka: Skowron – Glauber, Marcjanik, Sobieraj, Warcholak – Łukasiewicz, Nalepa (90.+1. Fialho) – Jagiełło, Ława, Wojowski (82. Calderon) – Lech (81. Szubert). 

 

Żółte kartki: Woźniczka, Szczepaniak – Sobieraj, Nalepa

 

Czerwone kartki: Szczepaniak (82′ z ławki rezerwowych za wbiegnięcie na boisko, za dwie żółte)- Sobieraj (90′ druga żółta)
