Dotychczasowy bilans meczów Arki z Wisłą to 4 zwycięstwa, cztery remisy i trzy porażki, bramki 16:10.

Nastroje w drużynie są bojowe, zwłaszcza że w pierwszej kolejce wiosny gdynianie wygrali w Jaworznie z GKS Tychy, a Wisła na „własnych śmieciach” uległa liderowi, Górnikowi Łęczna. – W Tychach szykowaliśmy się na grę piłką po ziemi, ale musieliśmy po przerwie zweryfikować naszą grę. Musieliśmy przejść do trochę prostszych środków. Gra toczyła się głównie w środkowej strefie boiska. Cięzko mówić o jakichś wyjątkowych sytuacjach bramkowych. My mieliśmy chyba dwie, przeciwnik też dwie. Generalnie, można powiedzieć, że mecz bez historii, ale ze szczęśliwym zakończeniem.

Wtórowali mu zawodnicy. Arkadiusz Aleksander:

– Najlepiej jest wygrac 1:0, strzelając bramkę w 90 minucie, tak żeby przeciwnik nie miał czasu odrobić, to tak pół-żartem, pół-serio. Cieszymy się z tego meczu, że zaczęliśmy od zwycięstwa na wyjeździe. Tym bardziej, że czołówka mecze swoje wygrywa. My jesteśmy w takiej sytuacji, że każde stracone punkty bardzo utrudniają nam zadanie. Dlatego przed meczem z Wisłą Płock jest pełna mobilizacja, bo wiemy, że ten mecz musimy za wszelką cenę przechylić na swoją korzyść, tak aby ta czołówka czuła że jesteśmy mocni.

A Krzysztof Sobieraj dodał:

Ja też tu podzielam zdanie i trenera, i Arka. W Tychach dostosowaliśmy naszą grę do stanu murawy. Mieliśmy swoją taktykę na ten mecz i myślę, ze bardzo skrupulatnie ją realizowaliśmy. Mieliśmy założenia, z których zespół się wywiązał. Wracając do jutrzejszego meczu, będzie to ciężki mecz, tak jak wszystkie inne spotkania. Przyjeżdża Płock, przyjeżdżają zawodnicy, którzy kiedyś grali w tym klubie, przyjeżdża były trener Lechii Gdańsk, to tez trzeba wspomnieć i… na pewno łatwo nie będzie. Mamy swoje założenia, mamy swój cel i wierzę, że mu podołamy.
